Colin Slabach, Ph.D. CFP® founded the Master’s in Financial Planning program at the NYU School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) within its Division of Programs in Business. Before joining NYU SPS, he was an assistant professor of retirement at The American College of Financial Services and assistant director of the New York Life Center for Retirement Income. He is currently a board member of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB), the designating body that certifies financial planners internationally. He also serves on the advisory board of the Financial Planning Association Next Gen and several Fintech companies.
