Jenna Barzelay joined Santander in 2022 as an Executive Director in the Export & Agency Finance team based in New York. Jenna joined Santander from Citi, where she held a position in the Export & Agency finance business with global responsibility for World Bank agencies and has extensive transaction experience with MIGA and other agencies for large infrastructure projects. At Citi, she also originated and structured transactions for commodity trader and energy clients as part of the Commodity Trade Finance business line and was an account manager for non-bank financial institutions. Prior to Citi, Jenna started her career in Washington, DC as a political appointee in the Obama Administration as a Special Assistant to the U.S. Trade Representative. Jenna holds a Master in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College. She is a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish.
