Nonhlanhla Hugo is a banking and finance attorney with a focus on transactional work, including local and cross border finance. Nonhlanhla has acted for both borrowers and lenders in a variety of sectors both local and international which includes financial services, agriculture, energy, infrastructure, real estate and mining.

Nonhlanhla has practical experience in structured trade and commodity finance, development finance, leveraged finance, debt restructuring and syndicated lending. Nonhlanhla provides advise on structuring of transactions and has practical knowledge on running transactions.

Nonhlanhla holds an LLB degree from the University of the Free State, a LLM in corporate law from the University of the Witwatersrand and is currently doing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at University of the Witwatersrand.
