Ntombi is a skilled and experienced professional with thirty (30) years’ experience in the financial sector with eighteen (18) years devoted to the Short-Term Insurance Industry. Her roles include being a Senior Underwriter, Risk Assessor, Financial Planner, Credit Risk Analyst. Experience in working under, and alongside highly established companies such as; Export Credit Insurance Corporation (ECIC), Credit Guarantee Insurance Corporation (CGIC), Coface South Africa (CofaceZA), Old Mutual (OM), First National Bank (FNB), Nedcor Bank Limited, and Absa Bank Limited.
She attained a high level of education after completing studies in National Diploma in Accounting, BTech Degree in Business Administration, BComm Honours Degree in Business Management, recently concluded a Management Development Programme offered by GIBS.
Ntombi possess key skills in underwriting, risk management, portfolio management, a keen sense of keeping up to date with world policies, economies, and market influences/indicators. She further has an ability to formulate strategy, lead, delegate, and ensure effective communication within a policy-making and financial environment, by supporting departmental heads and senior managers.
Ultimately driven to effectively solve problems, tackle new challenges, and utilise best practise of existing skills and experiences, to further personal and professional development.
Ntombi is a mother of two beautiful daughters, she originates from Soweto. She considers herself as an avid baker, hence she once owned a bakery. During her free time, you will find her serving in her local church, responding to societal matters through her social club and women’s organisations.
