Profile

Julian leads the Credit, Surety & Political Risk reinsurance operation at Navigators, a brand of The Hartford.
Julian joined Navigators in 2019 with 10 years’ experience in the financial industry.

Prior to joining Navigators, Julian held actuarial and underwriting positions in Credit & Surety at Munich Re in Munich, Germany and Princeton, NJ. Julian chairs the Single Risk Committee of the ICISA credit insurance association.

Julian holds a master’s degree in Mathematics from Berlin Humboldt University, and a master’s degree in Economics from Heidelberg University. Julian has completed various financial degrees including the AFSB (for Surety), the CRM (for Risk Management) and the CITF (for Trade Finance).
