Opening keynote: The NeuroGeneration - How the New Era in Brain Augmentation Is Revolutionising the Way You Think, Work, Lead, and Live
  • Tan Le - Founder and CEO, EMOTIV

Due to rapid technological innovations in automation, AI, and brain augmentation, there will be a dramatic disruption in social systems, political & business norms, and popular expectations. Society will be forced to rethink the nature of work, the way we interact with each other, and the principles on which we organize our societies. In financial services in particular, AI will affect traditional areas like investment, customer engagement, fraud and risk management, stock prediction and even compliance.

Advances in integrating humans and machines that combine analytical processing powers of computers with the creativity that is uniquely human, will no doubt continue change how we think and conduct business. Tan Le will show automation and A.I. are not the threats they appear to be to some, but rather our allies as they become part of the new extended, augmented human organism. A talk like none other that you must see and hear for yourself.

Easy come, easy go: The disruption of loyalty
  • Russell Pert - UK Head of Industry, Financial Services, Facebook

Customers are more in control than ever before. Digital has transformed the purchase journey and market saturation is common. Even legislative changes are encouraging customers to shop around. As a result, the Financial Services industry needs to establish new value amongst their audiences in order to drive loyalty. But what is deemed ‘value’ in this environment and how can new technologies help?

In this talk, Russell Pert, UK Head of Industry, Financial Services at Facebook, discusses how technology is augmenting relationships between brands and customers and why the future of loyalty is centred around relevant and meaningful one to one interactions, at scale.

The Blurring of Identity Proofing & Authentication

The worlds of identity proofing (verification) and authentication have long been separate and distinct -- and ripe with vulnerabilities. Historically, enterprises have used knowledge-based verification and credit bureau lookups to verify new users and tools like knowledge-based authentication and two-factor authentication to unlock online accounts. Unfortunately, these methods have proven vulnerable to fraudsters, phishing attacks and malware, rendering them unreliable in terms of ensuring that the person behind a login is who they claim to be. In this session, Philipp Pointner, Jumio’s Chief Product Officer will unveil a new way to unlock your users’ digital identities by comparing a 3D face map (captured via a selfie) to the face map captured at enrolment.

Opening keynote: The NeuroGeneration - How the New Era in Brain Augmentation Is Revolutionising the Way You Think, Work, Lead, and Live

Customers are more in control than ever before. Digital has transformed the purchase journey and market saturation is common. Even legislative changes are encouraging customers to shop around. With competition just a scroll, click or voice command away customer retention has never been more important.
