Andrea Seidt is the Ohio Securities Commissioner with the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Securities. The Division regulates the sale of securities in Ohio and more than 200,000 securities brokerage firms, securities salespersons, investment adviser companies and their representatives. Commissioner Seidt actively represents the Department and investors throughout the state of Ohio through her service with the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA). Seidt is a former President of NASAA and has served multiple terms on NASAA’s Board of Directors as well as other leadership positions, including the current Chair of NASAA’s Investment Adviser Section. Prior to her appointment as Commissioner in 2008, Seidt worked at the Jones Day law firm and also served as Deputy Chief Counsel for the Office of the Ohio Attorney General. Commissioner Seidt received both her undergraduate and law degrees from The Ohio State University.
