Secil Tabli Watson is an executive vice president and head of Digital Solutions for Business (DS4B) at Wells Fargo. She leads key digital channels: Commercial Electronic Office® (CEO) portal, CEO Mobile® service, Wells Fargo Common Authentication (WCA), Wells Fargo Gateway’s Developer Portal and Application Program Interfaces (APIs), and Secure Document Delivery (SDD). These channels support customers’ and business partners’ sophisticated real-time needs in the digital economy. Secil and her team are committed to providing best-in-class digital experiences and delivering innovative solutions that provide convenient and secure banking access to satisfy customer needs, deepen relationships, and drive revenue growth. Her team of experts drives best practices in digital channel management, especially in the areas of customer insights (advisory councils, user research, and ethnography) and customer experience analytics, as well as channel strategy, experience design, and delivery.

In 2016, American Banker named Secil one of its “Digital Bankers of the Year” for leading innovations to better serve customers. In 2015, Global Finance magazine named Secil among its “Who’s Who in Treasury & Cash Management,” which recognizes the most infl uential, creative, and powerful people in corporate treasury and transaction services. Secil joined Wells Fargo in 2002 and has held many positions innovating to serve consumers, businesses, and corporate customers in the digital space. Before that, she worked in e-commerce as head of the fi nancial services vertical for a leading e-learning company. She was also a management consultant for Fortune 500 companies in telecom, banking, and healthcare. She earned her master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her bachelor’s degree in government and economics from Cornell University. She lives in Oakland, California, with her family and is the co-chair of the board for the Oakland Zoo, one of the most recognized zoos in the U.S. for animal care and conservation.
