Jorge Roberts is the CEO of Avports (formerly Pan Am World Services), America’s most experienced airport operator and manager. Avports is owned by West Street Infrastructure Partners III, an infrastructure fund managed by the asset management division of Goldman Sachs.

Jorge’s global airport management and public-private partnership (P3) development and investment career spans over 16 years, including leading the $100 million projects for Manassas Airport P3 in the Greater Washington DC area and New Haven Airport P3 in Connecticut, and co-originating the $9.5 billion JFK New Terminal One P3 in NY.

Jorge is an active industry and community leader. He is currently a proud Board Member (Advisor) of ACI’s Latin American and Caribbean region, a member of the President’s Advisory Board for NY’s Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, member of A.A.A.E.’s National Leadership Committee, active participant in the Airport Minority Advisory Council’s (AMAC) CEO Economic Summit and Equity in Action Sessions, and Board Trustee of the University of Washington’s Friends of the Educational Opportunity Program.

He holds an International Airport Professional accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI) and ICAO’s airport management program (AMPAP), and two bachelor’s degrees in economics and business from the University of Washington in Seattle and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
