Nicolas Notebaert

Chairman at VINCI Airports


Nicolas Notebaert, born in 1970, has been working in VINCI Group since 2002. He is currently CEO of VINCI Concessions and Chairman of VINCI Airports. 

Consultant to the World Bank in 1994, he held various positions in the Ministry of Public Works between 1995 and 2002, in DDE (Departmental Infrastructure Agencies) and as a member of the cabinet of French Minister for Transportation and Infrastructure (2000 to 2002).

He joined VINCI in 2002 as Head of Operations for Cofiroute, before joining VINCI Concessions in 2004 as Director of Business Development, France. In February 2008, he was appointed Chairman of VINCI Airports and became a member of the Executive Committee of VINCI Concessions.

On September 17th 2013, VINCI Airports finalized the acquisition of 100% of Aeroportos de Portugal (ANA) with Portuguese government. With this acquisition of all Portuguese airports, Nicolas Notebaert has been appointed Member of the Board of ANA.

He is also Chairman of the Airports’ du Grand Ouest Concession Company since 2010 and Chairman of the Board of Cambodia Airports since 2014. In 2015, he is appointed President of the Board of Nuevo Pudahuel Consortium, which gather VINCI Airports, Aéroports de Paris and Astaldi. Nuevo Pudahuel Consortium will operate Santiago de Chile Airport from October 1st for a duration of 20 years.

In 2016, he joined the board of directors of Kansai Airports, following its takeover by a consortium composed of VINCI Airports (40%), Orix (40%) and 30 companies of the Kansai region (20%), in order to manage its 2 airports for a 44-year concession starting from April 1.

He also becomes chairman of the board of Aerodom, the operator of 6 airports in the Dominican Republic after the full takeover of a 14-year concession.

In June 2016, Nicolas Notebaert is appointed CEO of VINCI Concessions (VINCI Airports, VINCI Highways & VINCI Railways) and joins the executive committee of VINCI Group.

In November 2016, he becomes President of the Supervisory Board of Aéroports de Lyon, following the acquisition of 60% of its share capital by a consortium comprising VINCI Airports, Caisse des Dépôts and Crédit Agricole Assurances.
