Ray Gray is Group Chief Financial Officer with daa plc.
With daa, Ray has raised over €3 billion in funding (including funding Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2 and new northern parallel runway), completed almost €1 billion of M&A transactions, led the resolution and refinancing of complex legacy pension arrangements (involving restructuring of a €2 billion multi-employer legacy scheme) and overseen a significant transformation of group financial and procurement activities and systems. He has responsibility for Finance, International Airport Investments, Procurement and Shared Services.
Ray is a member of the Supervisory Board of Düsseldorf Airport, a director of Hermes Airports, a director of Aer Rianta International cpt, vice chairman of Aer Rianta International (Middle East) wll, Chairman of CTC-ARI Airports Limited (Cyprus Airports Duty Free) and a number of other daa group subsidiaries including daa International Ltd and daa Finance plc.
In 2017 Ray was appointed by the Minister for Finance to the Advisory Board of Ireland’s National Shared Services Office.
Ray joined daa in 1999 from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a partner and country lead for a number of sectors. During 18 years with PwC he also spent periods on secondment to Ireland's Department of Finance and The Thomson Corporation (now Thomson Reuters) in London.
Ray is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, a member of the Institute of Directors and of the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers.
