Ghufran is Partner at HC Global Fund Services. and the President of CalALTs, a not-for-profit membership organization whose members include alternative asset managers, investors and service providers. Ghufran serves as an advisor to 3 Hedge Funds. Ghufran was the Chief Operating Officer and Partner at Standard Pacific Capital LLC (USD5 billion global long/short at its peak) and was responsible for operations, trading, technology, investor relations and business strategy. Ghufran has 20+ years of hedge fund experience and helped Standard Pacific invest globally and launched various products like Global L/S, Asia specific funds, Quant Funds, Commodity Funds, Concentrated Long-Only, SMAs and Credit Funds. Prior to Standard Pacific, he served as operations manager at Credit Suisse First Boston Asset Management.

Ghufran also is a member of Help For Children (HFC) SF Grant Committee and was the Co-Chair for HFC West from 2014-2016.

Ghufran received his B.Comm (undergraduate) in Commerce and Economics from the University of Bombay (Mumbai) and MBA from University of San Francisco in International Business. Ghufran lives with his wife and 2 daughters in Alamo, CA.
