Paul Tran is an Associate at UTIMCO covering Operational Due Diligence across several asset classes including Private Equity, Public Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Return. Prior to joining UTIMCO, he worked at the Texas Permanent School Fund also covering Operational Due Diligence. He started his career in public accounting working for Ernst & Young in the Assurance practice and PwC in Forensics practice. Following this, he worked in energy markets with utilities base in Houston as a power and derivatives analyst. He received his B.A. and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Houston.
