Nachiketa Rao is an Executive Director in Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s XIG Vintage Strategies team focused on secondaries, based in London. He co-leads the non-traditional secondaries strategy and leads preferred equity and credit strategies for the Vintage Funds. Nachiketa joined Goldman Sachs initially in 2014 and re-joined after graduate school in 2015. Previously, he worked at JPMorgan, focused on whole business and asset portfolio acquisitions, investments in liquid and illiquid assets, and firm-wide strategic initiatives. Prior to that, he was an analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions and worked with the Investment Banking Division’s COO at Merrill Lynch. He received a BA from Swarthmore College, an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, where he was a McCabe Memorial Fellow, and an MA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania’s Launder Institute, where he was a Leonard A. Lauder Fellow.
