Sustainability Consultant, Former Group Finance Director and Head of Sustainability at HRH Prince of Wales Ambassador for Responsible Business
Tim Haywood is HRH Prince of Wales Ambassador for Responsible Business in the West Midlands, and runs his new family business, Astley Vineyard in Worcestershire.
Until his retirement in 2017, he had been Group Finance Director of FTSE250 Support Services and Construction Group Interserve Plc since 2010.
Tim took the additional role of Head of Sustainability in 2011, having been inspired by his daughter’s experience as UNICEF’s UK ambassador to the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. He is a member of the ICAEW Sustainability Committee, and a Pilot Programme member of the International Integrated Reporting Council.
He is a member of the Enterprise Leadership Team of Business in the Community, and an adviser and ambassador for national charity Groundwork. He has advised many organisations (including Heathrow Airport, The Cabinet Office, and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership) on sustainability, responsible leadership and social value.
He is also a Non-Executive Director and Audit Committee Chairman of media group Tarsus plc.
Tim was born in June 1963. He is a keen rower, and two-time marathon runner, and is married with two grown-up children (who are now his business partners!). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Cha
