Ali Sadeddin is a mechanical engineer who has been involved in the construction field for around 21 years. Having more than 15 years of intensive exposure to procurement and operations in the construction sector, during those years Ali was serving as Procurement Director at EFECO, part of arabtec Holding group. Now he is currently serving as Head of Procurement at Khidmah, a leading company in the integrated facility management industry.

During his work at EFECO he has built the Procurement Department and set the required procedures and policies for procurement function that are aligned with the industry requirements. He has also set the standards and processes for supplier performance evaluation as per the procurement best practice. Ali also has delivered more than 30 projects and contributed to the success of the following projects: Villas Communities, High Rise Commercial and Residential Buildings, Hotels, Airports and infrastructural works.

In 2012, Ali demonstrated breakthrough success by not only fulfilling his hectic career responsibilities but, in addition, simultaneously completing his MBA degree. In addition to his degrees in engineering and business, Ali has an international certificate in procurement and is considered a Certified International Procurement Professional (CIPP). In 2014, Ali acquires more professional certificates in purchasing and management from American Purchasing Society (APS). He became Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) and Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM). He is also accredited from International Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Institute from USA as a Certified International Sourcing Manager (CISM), Certified International Supply Chain Professional (CISCP), Certified International Supply Chain Manager (CISCM) and Certified International Commercial Contracts Manager (CICCM).

In January 2017 Ali joined Khidmah and start a procurement transformation process to improve the existing procedures and policies and deploy a centralized procurement process all over Khidmah business units. He ends up with having a comprehensive manual for procurement and inventory that manage the process as per the best practice and keep a high level of governance.

A regular contributor to HSME, covering subjects related to health and safety in the Middle East, Ali is an active LinkedIn member and participates in business management and procurement and supply chain management related subjects and discussions.
