Emmanuel Augustin is the Head of Procurement & Strategic sourcing of Aggreko Power Solutions. Over his 13 year in Procurement, he has held positions of increasing levels of responsibility working on international projects for leading multinationals across multiple continents and industries.

He began his career working for automotive leading companies such as Volkswagon Group and Honda and managing procurement across various areas from pre-production to after market sectors. He then joined "pharma giant" GlaxoSmithKline where he was responsible for R&D procurement before bringing his competencies to Aggreko to help the leader in temporary power generation to set up its procurement function.

As the Head of Department, he is responsible for the oversight of the Procurement & Strategic Sourcing functions, and managed a staff of 38 spread across Asia, Africa, Eurasia, Latin American and Middle East.

Emmanuel has been an active member of the CIPS MENA branch in Dubai holding hte role of Vice-chair of the committee between January 2016 and December 2017.

Thanks to these experiences and his contribution to the procurement community, he has accumulated an extensive knowledge of procurement & supply chain management. This has led him to be awarded with the highest grade of CIPS membership status (FCIPS) in 2017 as a recognition of his expertise and ability to "raise the public profile of the profession and play a major role in setting the global strategy for the future of procurement and supply".

Emmanuel holds a Bachehlor in Business Administration from the University of Bordeaux and a Master's degree in Innovation & International Purchasing from KEDGE business school.
