Oliver joined Selby Jennings in 2011 in their London office and quickly established himself as one of the outstanding recruitment consultants specializing in the Quantitative Finance space. Due to this success, Oliver was asked to move to New York to lead the build out of Selby Jennings U.S presence. After successfully developing the Selby Jennings Quantitative Analytics group he took on wider responsibility for the quant, risk and technology divisions establishing Selby Jennings as the pre-eminent business in those markets. He now leads the Selby Jennings brand across all divisions for it’s parent company Phaidon International across North America which consists of 150 specialist financial services recruitment consultants. He has oversight of all candidate delivery and business development teams for Selby Jennings from it’s US headquarters in New York.
Selby Jennings places over 400 quant professionals annually in the most prestigious banks, hedge funds, investment managers and trading firms in the world. They regularly advise these clients on talent acquisition, retention and management as well as diversity and inclusion issues. Oliver will be discussing his firms research in the diversity and inclusion space as well as effective strategies for firms to increase diversity and create a more inclusive workplace.
