Amal Moussa is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where she leads the US micro structured products trading desk (exotic derivatives trading on US stocks).

Amal is as well adjunct professor at Columbia University, where she teaches a course on modeling and trading derivatives in the Mathematics in Finance master’s program and the Financial Engineering master’s program. She is also an advisory board member of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Business Analytics and Financial Technology at Columbia University.

Amal earned a PhD in Statistics, with distinction, from Columbia University. She also earned a master's degree in Mathematical Finance from Sorbonne University, formerly Paris VI University, and an Engineering degree from Telecom Paris.
