Charbel GereigeAutomated Asset Allocation Developers Lead at BlackRock
Mr. Charbel Gereige is the London team lead for the Automated Asset Allocation developers in Blackrock. His role requires skillset that spans software development, data sciences as well as financial markets. He contributes to multiple initiatives to bring new technology advances to the rest of the business, including Machine Learning.
Mr Gereige has worked in software development for financial institutions since 2005, starting his career in JP Morgan, and prior to Blackrock, he worked on the Equities arbitrage desk of Barclays Capital.
Mr. Gereige is a fellow of the Lebanese Institute for Market Studies (LIMS), a think tank that issues policy papers tackling economic policies as well as training journalists and political party members in free economic policies. He gives talks and training regularly as part of his involvement with LIMS.
Mr Gereige holds a Masters in Software Engineering from Telecom Paris, and an engineering degree from the Lebanese University.
