Alok has over 15 years of industry experience in data and analytics consulting focusing on credit risk and regulatory compliance across UK, Europe and Americas.

Prior to EXL, he worked with KPMG and organisations specialising in mortgage analytics, bringing in data driven decisioning across various industries.

With deep domain experience and understanding of risk and regulatory lifecycles across multiple jurisdictions, Alok has setup delivery centres of excellence for a number of large banks to help them achieve regulatory compliance across Basel 3, IFRS9 and BCBS239.

Currently, Alok is leading Climate Risk practice for EXL Analytics and has keen interest in helping banks get ready for regulatory compliance in this area as well as for them to do the right thing for sustainable finance across portfolios.

Alok is a regular contributor to various thought leadership initiatives within the area of regulatory compliance including, a recent piece on Basel IV.
