Nicolas Jomin Executive Director, Regulatory Change & Optimisation, Global Markets Division at Crédit Agricole


Nicolas is in charge of regulatory affairs and regulatory change for prudential regulations. Within the Global Markets Division (GMD), he is mainly in charge of:

  • Monitoring regulatory evolutions likely to impact fixed income and derivatives activities with a specific focus on prudential regulations
  • Representing CACIB in industry associations by building advocacy strategies and contributing to responses to European policy-makers 
  • Participating where needed to meetings with EU authorities (European Commission, Members of the European Parliament, etc.) 
  • Identifying and implementing appropriate initiatives aiming to contain the regulatory footprint on GMD activities, in close coordination with Sales and Trading 
  • Assessing regulatory impacts on scarce resources metrics (RWA, balance sheet, liquidity) 
  • Supporting where needed Solutions, Structuring and XVA teams in the pricing of the regulatory footprint of transactions.

Nicolas previously worked within the CVA & Scarce Resources team where he contributed to optimize GMD’s scarce resources. nPrior to joining CACIB, Nicolas held various roles in the derivatives markets covering Front-Office and Risk. Nicolas started his career in 2000 at Andersen Consulting.
