Stefano Bonini teaches Banking, Risk Management & FinTech at University of Bologna, Lumsa University and MIP Business School.

He is also leading the advisory Financial Institution offering of Cerved Group.

During his career, he built relationships with CEOs, CROs and CLOs of Top Tier Banks and Rating Agencies in Italy, being in charge of numerous Credit Risk Modeling and Validation projects.

He is also expert in regulatory frameworks like Basel II/III, ICAAP, ILAAP & Recovery Plan and acted as advisor risk culture formation for board members of Banks under SSM.

Before that, he was a Senior Executive of Accenture Finance & Risk and had led the Accenture Credit Risk Modeling & Governance Offering in Italy.

Stefano holds a PhD in Banking & Finance, is Certified Chartered Statistician from USA, UK & Italian Statistical Association and is Certified Chartered Accountant.

He is a regular speaker to industry events & international conferences, author of publications on books and international journals (Journal of Credit risk, European Journal of Finance) and led the Italian Risk Management Association Study Group on Machine Learning.

He has been named as one of the top FinTech Leaders & Influencer in Italy.
