Brad CarrSenior Director, Digital Finance Regulations and Policy at IIF
Brad Carr is the Institute of International Finance’s Director of Regulatory Affairs.
Brad joined the IIF in May 2014, and has led the IIF RWA Task Force (IRTF), which was a major industry project in analyzing banks’ credit risk modelling practices and composing recommendations for the harmonization of modeling practices.
Brad led the IIF’s recent submission on the BCBS proposed constraints on internal models, as well as the IIF’s ensuing Cumulative Capital Impact study. Brad has also led the IIF’s submissions on Basel & IOSCO consultations on corporate governance, credit risk management practices and cross-border derivatives regulation, as well as estimating the quantified impacts of regulation on market liquidity.
