At M&T Bank, as Deputy Chief Risk Officer, Sabeth's primary focuses are Capital Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Liquidity Risk Management, Market/Counterparty Risk, and Model Risk Management. Prior to joining M&T Bank, Sabeth Siddique led the credit risk practice within Deloitte & Touche LLP's Governance, Regulatory and Risk Strategies practice. He joined Deloitte from the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. where he was Assistant Director of Banking Supervision and Regulation, heading the credit risk department. During his nine-year tenure at the Federal Reserve, Sabeth played a key role in the horizontal assessment of risk management practices in the banking system across a broad array of products ranging from retail, commercial, and trading exposures. In 2009, Sabeth was a key member of senior Federal Reserve team that led the 150 interagency examiners for the stress test exercise on systemically important banks. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Sabeth was an investment banker for 10 years working for multinational banks. Sabeth has an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rutgers University.
