Managing Director at NASP-USAID Investment Partnership
Aymeric Saha is the Managing Director of the NASP-USAID Investment Partnership for Mobilizing Institutional Investors to Develop Africa’s Infrastructure or “MiDA”. He leads all operations of the partnership with a mission to support, advise, and expose U.S. institutional investors to opportunities to invest in Sub-Saharan Africa’s infrastructure. MiDA’s investors network extends to 70 U.S. pension funds, foundations, and endowments with close to $3 trillion in assets under management.
Mr. Saha previously spent fourteen years in investments and banking operations at the World Bank, and led the quantitative risk finance function responsible for overseeing market and credit risks. Following the 2008 financial crisis, he was appointed as a senior policy adviser in the United States Congress on the implementation of banking and capital markets reforms. Cumulatively, he directed initiatives to boost U.S.- Africa trade and investments, particularly within the Power Africa initiative. Mr. Saha holds two master degrees in finance and business management from Johns Hopkins Graduate Business School.
