Sani has over 15 years regulatory compliance and consulting experience across the financial services sector, with a particular focus on asset managers. Prior to joining Optima Partners in November 2017, Sani was a Director at Deloitte, responsible for delivering regulatory change projects across asset managers, as well as delivering s166 Skilled Persons reviews. Sani’s area of regulatory focus is in the area of governance and risk management frameworks, prudential frameworks and compliance and oversight frameworks. In addition, Sani was a Senior Compliance Officer at Brevan Howard and a member of the Brevan Howard Operational Risk Committee. She was responsible for leading their regulatory and business change initiative and re-designed and implemented the ICAAP and compliance framework for Brevan Howard.
