PEETER SAKS is the Managing Partner of BaltCap, the leading private equity firm focusing on mid-market buyout and expansion capital investments the Baltic States. BaltCap has strong presence in all three Baltic countries with local offices and experienced team of 25 investment professionals. To date BaltCap has managed several generations of private equity, growth capital and infrastructure funds with total capital of EUR 500 million and has made over 80 investments and 40 exits in various sectors across the Baltics. Most recently BaltCap set up a new €100m venture capital fund, called the NordicNinja, together with JBIC IG Partners and backed by Honda, Panasonic, Omron and the Japan Bank for International Cooperation. Peeter’s past positions include CEO of the Baltic investment bank Suprema Securities, Chairman of Tallinn Stock Exchange and Manager at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Saks received his MA in Economics from the Tallinn Technical University and additional education from INSEAD and HBS.
