Serkan is Co-founder and Managing Partner at Taxim Capital, a private equity fund with a focus on growth buyouts in the mid-cap segment in Turkey. He is on the Board of all of the portfolio companies and a member of the Investment Committee. He has 27 years of professional experience. He started his career at Coopers&Lybrand in 1995 and then joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 in New York after his MBA. He moved to Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD) in 2008 to establish their principal investment efforts in Turkey and create their direct private equity platform for Turkey and MENA. Later he led Invest AD’s whole private equity platform spanning Turkey, Gulf, Levant, and North Africa until 2014. Subsequently, he co-founded Taxim Capital.
