Robert CollinsManaging Partner at 3i Infrastructure
Rob Collins is the Managing Partner of 3i’s North American Infrastructure Fund and has over $135 billion of infrastructure transaction experience. Founded in 1945, 3i Group is a global private equity firm with over $15 billion in assets under management. Prior to joining 3i Group, Rob was the Head of Global Investments for North America & Europe for Hastings Funds Management.
Previously, Rob founded the infrastructure M&A practice at Morgan Stanley and Greenhill where he was a Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure Investment Banking for the Americas at both firms. He started his infrastructure career at Goldman Sachs after spending five years as an active-duty Naval officer in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program.
Rob received a MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, earned a Masters Equivalent in Nuclear Engineering from the Bettis Reactor Engineering School and graduated magna cum laude with a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
