Viktor KatsEx Co-Head at IFC Global Infrastructure Fund
Viktor manages the $1.2 billion IFC Global Infrastructure Fund, which invests in infrastructure in emerging markets globally. The fund’s portfolio includes companies in the power, water, and transport sectors. The fund is an early adopter of an investment framework incorporating technology disruption to assess new investment opportunities and manage portfolio companies.
After joining AMC in 2009 as Head of New Business, he successfully established several new business lines and raised capital for them. With the formation and successful fundraising of the IFC Global Infrastructure Fund in 2013, Viktor became Co-Head and a member of the Fund’s investment committee. Viktor has worked in emerging markets for 25 years, of which the last 20 years have been in project finance and principal equity investments in infrastructure. Viktor has an MSc in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Electronics and an MBA from INSEAD.
