Kathleen Bacon concentrates on managing European and emerging markets primary partnership investments. Kathleen joined HarbourVest in London in 1994 and serves on the advisory boards of a number of private equity partnerships. She is a member of the Firm’s Global Investment Committee, the HarbourVest Europe Investment Committee, and chairs the ESG Committee. She also serves on the BVCA Council and is a founder of Level20, an organization where the goal is to attract and retain women in private equity.
Kathleen’s prior experience includes a position with the First National Bank of Boston, where she was responsible for lending to US subsidiaries of UK-owned companies.
Kathleen received a BA in Russian from Dartmouth College in 1986 and an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 1993.
