Amit Jain serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) in Dubai. He joined GII in 2020 and has 20+ years of global experience across PE, VC, real estate and technology. He has held leadership positions at marquee funds like Joulon (Buy and build platform in partnership with KKR) and Oman Investment Authority (Sovereign Wealth Fund of Oman).
Amit has completed 30+ investments with deployment of c.$2bn across multiple sectors and has played an instrumental role in 9 exits.
He has a proven track record in creating buy-and-build platforms, driving business growth through turnaround strategies, implementing complex restructuring, orchestrating successful mergers and acquisitions, and executing profitable exits.
Amit is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur where he completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science in 2001. He furthered his education by earning a master's degree from INSEAD in 2006.
