Edmund has 20 years of experience investing in the European middle-market. He has significant expertise in the B2B Services, Education and Industrials sectors in the UK, Germany and Benelux.
Before Pictet, Edmund was Managing Director at THI Investments, a family-owned €1.8 billion private equity investment vehicle focused on middle-market investments in the UK, Germany and Benelux where he ran the private equity team. Edmund was also formerly an investor in, and board member of, MKM Mansfelder Kupfer und Messing GmbH, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of semi-finished copper products. He also acted as the CEO for two years of Compact GTL, a UK based gas conversion technology company focusing on the capture and monetisation of emissions from oil production and waste gas. Edmund was formerly a partner at Englefield Capital (subsequently renamed Bregal Capital), a pan-European €1.7 billion private equity firm. He started his career in the M&A team at Morgan Stanley in London and holds an MA (Cantab) in History from the University of Cambridge.
