Mehmet is the Co-Founder and a Managing Partner at Credia Partners.

Through his career spanning over two decades, Mehmet has advised leading corporations, esteemed financial institutions, prominent financial sponsors, and global multinationals on M&A, private credit, and private equity transactions, having successfully completed deals totaling over $10bn throughout his career.

Credia Partners is an independent advisory firm with offices in London and Istanbul. The firm specializes in advising clients on M&A and credit opportunities in Turkey, Europe, and the UK. Additionally, Credia Partners originates and structures private credit and private equity transactions in Turkey to co-invest alongside funds, providing our partners with local expertise and diligent monitoring throughout the investment’s lifecycle.

Before founding Credia Partners, from 2010 to 2015 Mehmet was a part of UniCredit’s Investment Banking team in Turkey, holding the positions of Vice President and Executive Director. Mehmet worked at Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Division from 2007 to 2009 in London, where he covered Turkey and Azerbaijan. He worked as an associate at Merrill Lynch – Antika Partners from 2005 to 2007 in Istanbul. He started his career as a management consultant at Prime Capital Group, advising large corporates in Turkey, Spain, and India between 2002 and 2005. Alongside his investment banking career, from 2009 to 2010, he invested in and steered an internet start-up, successfully securing venture capital.

Mehmet is an alumnus of Koç University, where he studied Business Administration in Istanbul.
