Kirthiga ReddyVenture Partner, Americas at Softbank Investment Advisers
Kirthiga brings over twenty years of business and technical experience to her role as Venture Partner at SoftBank Investment Advisers. She focuses on frontier technologies – AI, robotics, health tech, bio engineering, semis, IoT, quantum computing, and more – that will enable the next stage of the information revolution. Over her career, Kirthiga has created, built and run a series of several $100M+ business units, while leading high performing teams and cultures. Prior to SoftBank, Kirthiga spent over seven years at Facebook. She joined as the first Facebook India employee and was Managing Director of Facebook India and South Asia for six years. She then moved to HQ and was Managing Global Client Partner and Emerging Markets Lead for Global Accounts, which manages the company’s most strategic global advertiser relationships. Key markets included Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, South Africa and Middle East. Before Facebook, Kirthiga held executive business and product roles at technology pioneers like Silicon Graphics, Good Technology (acquired by Motorola) and Phoenix Technologies, where she led their consumer security business.
She holds an MBA from Stanford University, where she graduated with top honors as an Arjay Miller Scholar, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and a B.E. in Computer Science from Marathwada University, India. She serves as Chair, Stanford Business School Management Board and Member, Dean’s Leadership Council Advisory Board, Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science. She is passionate about causes for children and about developing women leaders.
