AJ Malhotra is a Managing Director on the investment team at Insight Partners, which he joined in 2014. In his time at Insight, AJ has invested more than $2 billion across enterprise and consumer technology and executed over 40 acquisitions for companies in the Insight portfolio. These investments span various end markets, including real estate and the built environment, fintech and healthcare. He currently leads several of Insight’s active investments, including IAD, CoreLogic, HqO, Chargebee, and Clarify Health, among others.

Outside of his investing and portfolio company work, AJ is an active mentor to junior staff and a member of the firm’s internal steering committee on sourcing, technology, and team management.

AJ holds a BBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
