Jarett Banks is a Managing Director at Andalusian Private Capital, a platform established to invest in private opportunities with its founding investor, David Tepper.  Andalusian makes minority investments across industries in growth businesses through to buyouts, recapitalizations and special situations.

Formerly, Jarett focused on real estate, financials and private investment at Appaloosa Management, a $15bn multi-strategy hedge fund. In 2018, Jarett helped lead Mr. Tepper’s purchase of the Carolina Panthers. Prior to Appaloosa, Jarett was an investor at Perry Capital, where he sat on the boards of Caribbean Real Estate Opportunity Fund and Capital Business Credit.

Jarett holds a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and lives in Aspen, CO with his wife and children.
