Josh Joined StartUp Health as Partner & CFO in September 2022, responsible for finance at the firm. StartUp Health is an early stage digital healthcare venture capital firm having made more than 450 investments since 2012. Previously, Josh served as Managing Director, CFO & CCO at Blue Wolf Capital Partners, a middle market PE shop, for nine years, supporting the firm's growth from about $100M of invested capital in 2013 to over $3B of AUMs by 2022. Previously, Josh worked for five years as a portfolio and finance manager at Grove International Partners, a global opportunistic private equity real estate fund manager. From 2001 to 2008, Josh held various positions within Citigroup, acting principally as a Vice President with responsibilities including financial planning and analysis, tax structuring, SEC registration, and systems implementation within various units including fixed income alternatives. Josh began his career holding several roles within the organized labor movement. Josh received a BS from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations, a post-graduate certification in Executive IT Management from Columbia University, and a MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
