Gorka Echevarria is the Global head of Indirect tax at Lexmark, in Geneva, Switzerland from 2018. Before joining Lexmark, he held senior roles such as EMEA VAT Lead at DXC Technology and Global Tax Supply Chain Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, among others.

Mr Echevarria is the co-author (with Javier Sanchez Gallardo) of the books “VAT and International Trade” (Lefebvre, 2021) and “IVA y Comercio Internacional” (Lefebvre, 2023). He is a member of the Editorial Board of the International VAT Monitor, published by the IBFD and a board Director of the Tax Executives Institute, EMEA Chapter. He is also a VAT professor at the EPJ of the Complutense University.

Mr. Echevarria is specialized in in complex M&A and Supply Chain restructuring operations, cash-flow optimization, VAT compliance, Customs planning and Tax Technology.
