Iwona Banach is a Counsellor in the Department for International Cooperation of the National Revenue Administration in the Ministry of Finance in Poland. She has over 19 years of professional experience in the area of tax proceedings, tax assesment and tax enforcement. Her key area of specialization is mutual assistance in recovery of claims. Iwona Banach worked at Tax Office in Poland for 11 years as a Tax Atorrney and Head of the Creditor Unit. She is a member of the Ministry of Finance working group for the implementation of the Internal Exchange of Tax Information IT system and is responsible for carrying out many projects related to the enforcement and exchange of the tax information area. She graduated in law from the University of Toruń, she studied Law and Legal at the Higher School of Banking and English Law and Practical Legal Skills at British Law Centre in Warsaw/ University of Cambridge. PhD in law studies at Bialystok University.
