Johnathan Davies is the Global Indirect Taxes Leader at Anglo American, a leading global mining and materials business, a role he has held since September 2017. Prior to joining Anglo American, Johnathan was a Director at PwC where he was responsible for advising FTSE100 and Large Inbound corporates on indirect taxes in the UK, EU and globally. He has extensive experience in designing and developing tax strategy, tax governance and control frameworks and approaches to tax controversy. Working internationally, Johnathan has successfully led the conduct of, advised upon, and resolved numerous indirect tax disputes – through negotiation, mediation and litigation.
