Shemara Watts is Global Tax Manager at Redpath Mining Inc., a global mining service provider headquartered in North Bay, Ontario. In her role at the Redpath Group, Shemara leads aspects of tax within the Redpath Group including transfer pricing and global structuring, Canadian tax compliance, tax process creation and improvement and most recently, tax lead for the ERP rollout. She has over 20 years of experience in tax, in various industries, both inbound and outbound, and has also recently taken on co-leading the sustainability reporting initiative. Prior to her role at RMI, she had a variety of tax roles at several multinational corporations and tax adviser at more than one of the Big 4 firms. She is a CPA, CGA (Ontario), a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Imperial College in the UK.
