Dan is a Tax Partner and Practice Leader for Grant Thornton UK for Yorkshire and the North East. In addition, Dan leads Grant Thornton UK’s ESG tax team. Dan has over 19 years’ experience in advising multinational enterprises as they expand and operate cross-border. This has included listed enterprises (outbound and inbound), private equity and privately owned businesses. Dan values helping businesses avoid surprises across their international footprint, whether that is in connection with cross-border financing, intellectual property strategies, expansions of trade into new territories or M&A structuring. Dan’s aim is to ensure that tax is not something that prevents businesses from achieving the returns on investment they desire, and that risk and controversy is managed as far as possible.
