Rachel joined Coutts in 2011, having previously worked in the non-profit sector for a social enterprise focused on equitable access to healthcare in Africa. She leads the Coutts Institute – which provides specialist advice to Coutts clients and their families around philanthropy, family wealth succession and preparing the next generation – and is part of the leadership team of the Coutts Family Office, which looks after multi-generational UHNW families.

Rachel holds a BA (Hons) in Modern History and English from the University of Oxford, and practising certificates in Family Business Advising and Family Wealth Advising from the Family Firm Institute. She is a Trustee of both The Coutts Foundation and the refugee employment charity Breaking Barriers, and an adviser to the Environmental Funders Network for their work on growing environmental philanthropy. She is also training to become a yoga teacher.
