Profile

Deirdre O’Reilly has over 25 years financial services sector experience having held several asset management sector independent director positions at the product, manager and investment firm level along with senior management positions in professional advisory services and the Central Bank of Ireland. She has worked with some of the largest domestic and global asset managers in both the traditional and alternatives space in leadership roles as Chair of the board or various sub-committees. She has worked across several time zones with international firms with headquarters in Australia, United Kingdom, Europe and the USA. She is also FCA approved as an independent director for a global benchmark administrator in the UK.


Deirdre is well placed to advise on regulatory engagements and international, EU and domestic supervisory approaches along with best practice board oversight, corporate governance structures and risk and compliance frameworks. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland; a Licentiate of the Compliance Officers in Ireland and a Certified Investment Fund Director. She is a member of the Institute of Directors and a Dublin steering committee member for 100Women in Finance, an international body to promote gender equality in financial services. Deirdre is passionate about sustainability and ESG and is a member of the Green Team Network, a forum for connecting and empowering change towards a sustainable environment in the Irish Funds industry.
