Berna Gungenci Kilincoglu is the Associate Director in the Office of Chief Compliance Officer at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London. Berna is part of the Project Integrity team where the focus is on ex-ante due diligence and prevention of fraud in the EBRD’s operations. She has worked as a project finance lawyer more than a decade at White & Case (Turkey), Clifford Chance (Turkey) and the legal department at the EBRD (London) and then took the General Counsel & Compliance Head role at ENGIE (Turkey), French multinational energy company, prior re-joining the EBRD as a compliance professional. Berna has a Law Degree (LLB) from Bilkent University and a Masters of Law (LLM) degree from Georgetown University.
