Jørn Fredsgaard Sørensen is Senior Director for EIFO’s Country, Bank and Sector Risk. As such, he is responsible for formulating EIFO's risk appetite on countries and banks and analysis of market developments and strategic trends.

Before joining EKF, Jørn set up and managed the “Global Competitiveness Facility - GCF” in Vietnam, and Jørn has also been both an independent consultant and an investment officer in the Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries.

Jørn is educated as a political scientist and holds a MBA from Henley.
