Colin McGinlay is Head of Corporate Private Placements EMEA. He is responsible for leading MIM’s London-based private placement team covering the corporate debt private placement markets in the UK, Ireland and continental Europe. Colin joined MIM ‘s private placement team in 2014 and in roles of increasing seniority managed deal origination, transaction underwriting and ongoing issuer credit and relationship management across several sectors in Europe. Colin grew MIM’s European book in new verticals including Higher Education and Sports. Colin joined MIM from Royal Bank of Scotland where he spent five years in credit risk covering medium and large UK corporates Prior to this, he worked in audit for five years. Colin holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and is a Chartered Accountant.
