Adrian Mackaay is a Director in BlackRock's Risk and Quantitative Analysis (RQA) Enterprise Risk team in EMEA. In this role, his responsibilities include oversight of operational and regulatory risk matters, including solvency considerations for the BlackRock Group Limited ICAAP and BlackRock Life Limited ORSA.

Mr Mackaay joined BlackRock in 2016, prior to which he had spent 13 years at Columbia Threadneedle Investments in a number of risk, finance and strategy related roles. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and earned a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Montreal and an MBA from INSEAD.
